CORTICEIRA VIKING was founded in 1995, as a result of a joint venture between a Swedish distributor (of a wide range of products, including cork) and a Portuguese manufacturer of cork products.
The experience and know-how of these two companies, contributed to establish the company´s main goal: customer satisfaction - giving positive answer to all the requirements, even the most complicated one´s.
The company is currently committed to increasing productive capacity, thus guaranteeing an effective response to market needs, both national and exporting to the rest of the world. At present, Corticeira Viking exports to 37 different countries, which represents approximately 90% of the company's sales.
The product diversity, in such areas as House ware, Tableware, Industrial, Wine and Lifestyle, gives CORTICEIRA VIKING a leading edge in a highly competitive market.
The concern with the environment is very present in our production method. The raw materials used in our products follow the internal policy of quality and environmental responsibility. Moreover, our production operates based on almost no waste: All of the cork leftover is recycled to become raw material again.
